What's Happening This Week
This week we continue leaning into a season of spiritual attentiveness, prayer, and shared mission as a church family.

Learning to Keep Pace Together
Continuing the conversation from last Sabbath

Last Sabbath we practiced slowing down together—not to delay obedience, but to listen more deeply as a body. This brief article reflects on that shared moment, names some of the tensions many of us feel (especially those who are ready to move forward), and reframes this season as one of formation, discernment, and unity. It is offered as a quiet, personal space to continue reflecting on what it means to keep pace together as we listen for God’s leading.

Prayer Meeting | Wednesday Evening — Fellowship Hall
This Wednesday we will gather for prayer in the fellowship hall. We are choosing this space intentionally to create a setting that invites quiet reflection, shared listening, and gentle conversation around Scripture.

Prayer meeting will center on a single verse, with time for personal reflection followed by simple sharing and prayer together at the tables. This is not a discussion or a program, but an unhurried space to listen for God and to one another.

Light refreshments will be available as we settle in, helping to create a hospitable and relaxed environment for prayer and presence.

All are welcome to come as they are—whether to speak, to listen, or simply to be present.

Agape Feast: A Shared Table of Love and Fellowship
Grateful for a meaningful evening together

Last week we gathered around the table for an Agape Feast—an unhurried evening of shared food, Scripture, prayer, and conversation. It was a simple and meaningful time, reminding us that God often forms His people most deeply not through programs, but through presence with one another.

As we ate, listened, prayed, and gave thanks, we were reminded that Christian fellowship is not something we rush through or optimize. It is something we receive. The table became a place of welcome, gratitude, and quiet strengthening of the bonds that hold our church family together.

Thank you to all who prepared, served, and simply showed up. May the spirit of that evening continue to shape how we listen, love, and walk together in the days ahead.
Penny Wars – Supporting Family Services
Penny Wars is underway! This friendly competition is more than fun—it’s a way for us to tangibly support Family Services in our community. Every coin counts, and every contribution makes a difference.
Sabbath Speaker: Pastor Tom Nicholas
This Sabbath: Religious Liberty and Faithful Witness
This Sabbath we will reflect together on the biblical foundations of religious liberty—why freedom of conscience matters, how Scripture calls us to relate to authority and to one another, and what it means to remain faithful to Christ in a diverse and changing world. Rather than approaching this topic with fear or urgency, we will seek a grounded, Christ-centered understanding that invites discernment, humility, and trust in God’s leading.
We’re grateful to walk this week together—rooted in prayer, shaped by Scripture, and sent out in service.

We are a Holy Spirit filled church family whose members engage deeply, serve faithfully, and reach their community for Christ.
